A hint of salty notes transforms a watery accord into an ocean breeze, pushes a bouquet of white flowers towards a sunny accord, and awakens our palate to a new addiction.
Until now, salty notes have been the starting point for fragrances that seek to be more original and a little more elevated. In recent years, however, they have become an unstoppable trend, gradually establishing themselves as the new gourmand, sometimes replacing sweeter, more classic notes such as caramel.
One of its most classic uses is to evoke the ocean and sea breeze, although as in cooking, it is becoming increasingly common to find creations in which a pinch of salt is added to the composition to generate a contrast capable of creating a new kind of addiction.
