LAVANDA IMPERIALE

This is an ages old, fresh and soothing perfume. This plant has been used since ancient times to scent linens, and at one time, it was scattered on the floor because walking over it would release the smell which would perfume the room. It grows all along the Mediterranean, in rocky, sunny places, often infested with vipers which have endowed it with the symbolic meaning of "wariness".
