Guy Laroche is a benchmark in perfumery, thanks to the men's fragrance Drakkar Noir, designed by Pierre Wargnye, which has been a top seller for more than 30 years.
The Guy Laroche brand was born in 1957 in Paris and takes its name from its founder, a fashion designer who created his own ready-to-wear house in which he developed an elegant and comfortable style that helped to simplify women's fashion, but without detracting from its elegance.
It was in 1966 that Guy Laroche debuted in perfumery with Fidji, a fragrance for women inspired by the paradisiacal islands of the South Pacific. And in 1982 came his greatest success with Drakkar Noir, a perfume with a more powerful version, Drakkar Intense.
