The history of Chloé as a fashion brand began in 1952, when Gaby Aghion designed her first womenswear collection, with elegant lines and a romantic, bohemian touch. In the 1960s, the brand achieved success by connecting with the feminine sensibility of a new generation of women ready to show their talent, and in the 1970s it signed the legendary Karl Lagerfeld as its designer, followed later by such important names in the fashion world as Stella McCartney and Phoebe Philo.
In 1975, the brand launched its first Chloé fragrance and today has more than a dozen perfumes that explore the feminine spirit and freedom of the modern woman.
Another of the brand's hallmarks is the design of the Chloé fragrance bottles. While in the Chloé line the striations of the glass are inspired by the Fortuny pleating, always present in its fashion collections, Nomade is evoked in the Drew bag with a soft rounded shape.
