A benchmark in haute couture, the house of Balenciaga, founded by the Spaniard Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1937 in Paris, is today an avant-garde and disruptive brand in the world of fashion.
The brand has been linked to the world of perfumery since its beginnings with Le Dix (1947), named after Balenciaga's first boutique in Paris, and Quadrille (1955).
Under the artistic direction of Nicolas Ghesquière, the brand launched Cristobal and Balenciaga Paris, followed by Florabotanica and Rosabotanica, with Alexander Wang; and B. Balenciaga Intense and Balenciaga Paris L'Edition Reflets, under the management of Demna Gvasalia.
